My wife is a much better designer than me, I love her, She is meticulous and brilliant. She works hard and puts in the time to make my ideas better and beautiful. Check out her rendition of my player board...

Now comes the long journey of building a working prototype that showcases the game art and effectively plays the game theme. Lots of cards to fix, and designing to do. Luckily my wife and I love doing graphic design work. Too bad we don't have a nanny...
My Designing brain is being flooded with mode ideas for this game. I recently read a novel about Gladiator Combat and it overwhelmed me with ideas and different ways to expand the theme and mechanics. So much fun. Lots to navigate through. - Luke
Working diligently towards building up a first prototype, lots of design work to be done. Check out our first draft on a box design. Pretty Cool eh? (sound Canadian much) - Luke
Using Blood Rage mini's and loving some initial play-testing of the combat mechanics. This is game is bloodthirsty and social just as much as a tactical deckbuilder ... getting excited.
I'm working on meeple ideas but have no idea what could be good or not, Kind of a fun project though.. Does this one look like a gladiator? - Luke
Now, I'm Canadian.. But I'm developing a game that hopefully will get some worldwide attention.. so I've thinking a little bit about how us up north talk and spell.. In Carthage, there are two words specifically that I'm concerned about Favour and Theatre, or if your from the US, Favor and Theater ... I'm a little concerned that if i don't spell these words the US way maybe it will annoy backers enough to not want to support/buy my game ... but on the other hand, I'm a proud canadian, and it might bother me to not have the "correct"(*subjective) spelling in my game ... I'm conflicted..
